VQS Are Looking For Vehicle Inspectors

VQS have an enviable reputation for delivering high-volume high-quality inspections for blue chip clients that include vehicle manufacturers, leasing companies, vehicle remarketing suppliers and finance institutions.

As our operations expand, we have multiple opportunities to join our team of 40 experienced and qualified inspection staff. We have an immediate requirement to expand our coverage in the South West, West London, the Midlands, and the North West of England regions.

What makes an ideal vehicle inspector?

Experience is essential and we recognize talented individuals that will respond to being individually coached and trained. The understanding of vehicle components, vehicle repair methodology and a keen eye for detail are a must.

Candidates will need the ability to communicate on all levels, be smart and well presented and have experience of recording findings on tablet technology.

What is essential to our business is that our inspectors can work independently and have a “team player” mentality. A strong worth ethic and a reputation for reliability is essential.

What can I expect?

We typically operate a 40-hour 5-day week (Monday to Friday) although some flexibility will be required with early starts and the occasional weekend to meet our client deadlines.

You will be expected to be home based and working in the field within an allocated region that will be subject to some flexibility. The client product will predominantly include end of lease, rental returns, and vehicles supplied to remarketing businesses.

The salary package is negotiable depending on experience and includes a fully funded company vehicle and contributory pension scheme.

Vehicle inspectors work in a demanding environment but can be hugely rewarding. Some of our inspectors have been with us for 20 years!
